'Penknife' used in attempted robbery in High Wycombe

A WOULD-BE robber who threatened a woman with what's believed to be a penknife ran off when his victim called for help.
The attempted robbery took place in Desborough Street between 6-6.15pm on Monday evening when the man told his female victim to hand over her money.
He also tried to snatch the 22-year-old woman's handbag from her shoulder but he fled the scene when she called for help.
The woman was not assaulted during the incident, during which the man produced what police describe as a penknife style knife.
Officers investigating the attempted robbery are looking for a man who is described as dark skinned, tall and slim, dressed all in black and wearing a scarf over his mouth and nose.
