RESIDENTS are being urged to share their views on the short term improvement plans for public spaces in High Wycombe during a web chat.

Wycombe District Council is hosting the live discussion at 5pm on Tuesday, with residents invited to tell council chiefs their thoughts about the authority’s short and medium term goals for regeneration in the town centre.

WDC Cabinet member for Planning and Sustainability Cllr Hugh McCarthy said: "The High Wycombe masterplan sets a challenging, long term vision for the town centre which will guide our short term improvement decisions.

“Thanks to the input during the public consultation last year, and more recently from local businesses, interest groups and the county council, we're producing a five year action plan for the town centre.

“We want to give local residents the opportunity to tell us whether we've got our short term priorities right. I would encourage any local resident who is online between 5 and 7pm on Tuesday 28 to join in the conversation."

The web chat will be hosted at www.wycombe.gov.uk
